How to get two Water Flying Cloths in Dragon Warrior II (NES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts

In Dragon Warrior II (aka Dragon Quest II) for the NES, there's a unique piece of armor called the Water Flying Cloth. I have no idea why it is called the Water Flying Cloth, but it's the best possible armor for both the Prince of Cannock and the Princess of Moonbrooke. However, there's a fairly simple (albeit tedious) glitch you can exploit to acquire a SECOND Water Flying Cloth.

First, collect the materials like normal. Head to the north tower of the Dragon's Horn and climb to the third floor. Search this area all over to find the Dew's Yarn - and note that it's somewhat random where the item will appear, so just Search the floor in many different spots.

Then sail to the southeast section of the world to the town of Zahan and find the Magic Loom in a treasure chest. It's best if the Prince of Cannock is at least level 17 because you will need to cast the Stepguard spell to survive some traps.

Once you have the Dew's Yarn and the Magic Loom, travel to the town of Tuhn and talk to Don Mahone, who will take your items and begin working on a Water Flying Cloth. Now normally, you're supposed to save your game and reset, and once you do he will give you the Water Flying Cloth, and you will no longer be able to find the Dew's Yarn or the Magic Loom. So don't do that just yet.

Instead, after giving him the two necessary components, IMMEDIATELY set out to find those items again. So go to the Dragon's Horn and find another Dew's Yarn, then go to Zahan to get another Magic Loom. Now you can save and reset. Talk to Don Mahone after, and he will give you a Water Flying Cloth. Talk to him once more, and he will take your second Dew's Yarn and Magic Loom and get to work on another! Not sure why he needs two Magic Looms...

Anyway save and reset once more, then talk to Don Mahone and he will grant you the second Water Flying Cloth. This exploit allows you to have two of the best armor in the game for your allies. The Water Flying Cloth grants 35 defense and halves the damage from spells or breath attacks, and that's pretty darn good in this game.
