THIS is the kind of JP-only game I would have loved to play on SNES, but was never officially localized. I was heavily into Rogue for DOS prior to owning a SNES, and never knew this existed until recently. I've discovered quite a few unique Rogue-style games on classic consoles, and will have future videos for those as well.

Unless you can read the JP manual, this is a great resource for understanding the basics! Avoid this if you want to figure it out on your own, and be surprised by what the later enemies are, etc. You can learn both basic and advanced info from NPCs, so talk to all of them when you have a chance, including those that come up to the shop window. The translation for NPC conversations is great.
An undocumented feature I found, was that you can hold select while choosing one of the "replay" files, and it will show you one of the example gameplay demos without having to sit through the boring-ass intro over and over again to see them. The replay option shows your gameplay of the last floor completed, usually. You'll need to complete at least one floor for this to work. You can see all three demos by copying your existing game to the other two files, and holding select while choosing them from the replay menu.
