One of the most important deities in Aztec mythology in Central America.
A goddess who may seem free-spirited, but is actually kind-hearted and incomprehensibly wise.
She detests sacrificial rituals and loves humans. She is a goddess of life and the harvest, a goddess of culture, and a goddess of rain and wind.
There is a legend that says she even temporarily controlled the sun.

In this abnormal situation, Quetzalcoatl has appeared wearing a new face that none have seen before, and as a goddess who fell in love with the art displayed by modern Mexico's Lucha Libre wrestlers - the art of free combat.

Her name means "Feathered Snake" or "Winged Serpent."
She is said to have been a benevolent god who refused sacrificial rituals, and considered to be the same being as the avatar of the morning star Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli and the Mayan deity Kukulcan. There are many legends of her goodness, but she is also a fierce god of battle.

The Aztecs interpreted the Spanish conquerors as the return of Quetzalcoatl and her armies, and were ultimately destroyed.

Originally a male god, she exists as a goddess in this manifestation.
She may have been influenced by the association of the morning star with the goddess of beauty, Venus (Aphrodite).
At least, that's what she says.

The gods of South America are very different from gods in other mythologies, and were believed to possess humans in order to perform their work.
Just as there are many Quetzalcoatls in different regions, perhaps in some era the god possessed a female body.

When Quetzalcoatl left the Aztecs, she burned her own palace so that the evil god Tezcatlipoca could not steal her many treasures. This is the reincarnation of those flames.
It burns the surrounding area, and temporarily stops the enemy from releasing the True Name of their Noble Phantasm.

But now that she's obsessed with lucha libre, it's become a very strange Noble Phantasm.
She's turned it into a divine, airborne brainbuster, but in some cases she kicks the enemy from an altitude of a thousand meters. It's truly like a shooting star strike attack.

The Noble Phantasm that makes her a Rider.
She summons and rides a quetzalcoatlus, a winged dragon from the Cretaceous period that was named after her.
It is actually a Phantasmal that is classified somewhere between a Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast, and is far more powerful than a real quetzalcoatlus. The quetzalcoatlus is known as the largest winged animal in history.

When she unleashes its True Name, she gains the power to control storms and lightning over a huge area...
although it is not used in this game.

The reason she got into lucha libre is very simple.
She happened to see a match when summoned into the modern era, and the impact was so great that it affected even her original spirit in the Throne of Heroes.

"The body, yes! The use of weapons in a battle to the death should be avoided at all costs!
And lucha is best for a battle of wits, too, yes!"

Her favorite luchador is La Mistico.
As the goddess of wind, and the goddess of Venus, when she saw luchadores (or if they're women, luchadoras) flying without wings, she was moved to tears, feeling she had seen the future.
After that, her studious nature and self-control quickly helped make her a lucha master.

She boasts that she could put any god or beast into a headlock if she wanted, but in order to spread the gospel of jump-based lucha, she doesn't use any of the common lucha joint lock moves.
