The Google Pixel 8 not receving Gemini Nano AI is catastrophic for the phone. Gemini AI is the basic, first ever on-device AI model from Google to assist in performing AI tasks, and the Google Pixel 8 can't run it due to hardware limitations. This is terrible for the phone and from my perspective means that the phone is dead and shouldn't be bought because Google has shown that it's not supporting it's devices, making inferior hardware, and not committed to support and misleading customers.
