Peter, while swinging through the city, notices a van falling off a bridge. He swiftly rescues a man and his daughter from the vehicle. The daughter, frightened by the spider emblem on Peter’s suit, tries to squash it and then clings to her father. The grateful father offers Peter money, which he considers accepting due to financial needs but ultimately declines. Instead, Peter suggests to pay him back by helping some homeless individuals Peter knows. Later, these homeless individuals, whom Peter has frequently assisted despite his financial needs, offer to buy him lunch as a gesture of gratitude despite their own limited means.
