Endocrisis, it is different since your ship can absorb enemy shots to increase your power and thus resist enemy attacks. This changes the playstyle as you can take defensive or offensive stances depending on your play style or situation.

This game becomes quite challenging by having zero lives as the only way to keep the ship alive to resist an impact is with 100% power. This power is lost when receiving a hit or using it when using our abilities such as absorbing or making powerful shots.
