- Mass Effect: Legendary Edition runs in backward compatibility mode.
- Both versions run at native 2160p in quality mode. In performance mode, they both lower their resolution to 1440p. No other visual aspect changes between these two modes.
- In quality mode, both consoles offer 60FPS. I have noticed some small drop in PS5, but anecdotal.
- In Series X, the performance mode offers up to 120fps, although it suffers some drops (especially in Mass Effect 1).
- PS5 in performance mode only offers 60FPS due to its limitations in backward compatibility mode.
- Loading times are faster in SeriesX.
- Same texturing, shadows, anisotropic filtering, reflections and drawing distance.
- PS5 has some graphic bugs with some elements (minute 1:55)
