Reviewing the OnePlus 9 Pro one month later, after several key updates, including an extensive camera test, gaming performance with Genshin and battery life verdict. One of 2021's biggest flagship smartphones so far has been patched to remove that early janky behaviour, so at last I can review the OnePlus 9 Pro and see if it's a rival to the Mi 11, Samsung S21 etc.
Check out my unboxing for a full specs tour and closer look at those OxygenOS features.
While the main headline here was that partnership with Hasselblad, the OP9 Pro's camera tech hasn't evolved much at all from the 8 Pro or 8T. This phone is great for shooting living subjects and can generally cope with a range of conditions. But it's also fallible when the going gets tough.
The Snapdragon 888 chipset means gaming on the OnePlus 9 Pro is a dream, with heat build-up and frame rate drops only a factor when you punish it with maxed-out Genshin Impact action. Battery life could be better however, as I only just scraped through some days. At least this blower charges up again fast.
