A lot of trail time has been put in on our Axial SCX10 II Trail Honcho and the steering servo has held up without issue. Heck, we’re still running the factory plastic servo horn too! But we have encountered times where we needed more steering power to get through some tough sections on the trail and we know that the plastic servo horn can possibly fail. So, it’s time to start upgrading our electronics. In this video we’ll show you our Hitec high torque metal gear servo install and talk about some tips you need to know about when doing a servo swap. We’ll show you the servo arm getting swapped out too. Need some help with your SCX10 servo upgrade? You’ll need to see this how to.
